About Us

Glenwood Manor Homeowner’s Association was established when the subdivision was first platted for the 350 +/- homes located in the Glenwood Manor subdivision in Joliet, Illinois.  The association is a not-for-profit entity registered in the State of Illinois.
The purpose of the association is to facilitate a channel of communications within the subdivision community.  Periodically, issues or situations pertinent to the subdivision may arise.  The Association is a vehicle that can be utilized to inform members, contact appropriate governmental officials and help resolve the condition.
Social activities are held periodically to foster friendship and neighborly relations among residents.  Family activities are planned from time to time keeping Glenwood Manor a “child safe” subdivision.

Elder Brewing Company
Elder Brewing Co. is located in downtown Joliet, at 218 East Cass St.  Our building has been in the family for over 40 years. Originally owned by our brewer's grandfather as JCM Uniforms, it is now being transformed into a microbrewery. 
Elder Brewing will have a small tap room for customers on the first floor of the microbrewery. The tap room will include a bar, a bar ledge, and a few small tables. Hours will be noon to 7 p.m. Fridays through Sundays and 4 to 7 p.m. on Thursdays.
Melissa Polykandriotis will run the business with her husband Andrew, who is the owner.
The Polykandriotis’ reside in Glenwood Manor and are members of Glenwood Manor Homeowners
Association.

Lee has been a resident of Glenwood Manor since 1979.  He served on the Board previously as a Block Representative.
A retired school teacher, he paints houses and enjoys traveling.
